Congratulations to Connor Strong for his first senior Regatta win at Peterborough in the Band 3 single sculls today.
Also racing in singles David Welch in the Band 2 single sculls reached the final and was in second place untill his blade got caught on some weeds under the water. And Matt Allen had two good rows in the J15 singles to get to the final where he came second.
The Masters Quad raced in the Band 1 senior event and racing against guys 30+ years younger than them had a good row and missed out on making the final by 2 seconds. There heat time was the third fastest out of the 8 crews entered.
